As part of our efforts to disseminate information and engage DIPP partners and the broader community in decision-making processes, we host "community conversations," or public meetings in which participants are invited to contribute to discussions on a range of topics. Community conversations differ from standard public information sessions in that we strive to give all participants -- which often include scientists, local community members, watermen, faith-leaders, government officials, NGO representatives, among others -- an equal platform from which to share their thoughts and concerns and shape to discussion.
