      Shoreline Erosion
Somerset County and the Maryland Dept of Natural Resources are in the early phases of design for a shoreline project at the end of Crowell Road and in the area known as Hunt's Hill on the Deal Island Peninsula. If there are considerations that you would like to be taken into account during the design phase please use this form to submit comments. Comments will be taken until November 3, 2017. Call Bhaskar Subramanian (443-454-1638) with any questions, or if easier, you can also provide your comments directly to Bhaskar by phone. Access the form here: https://goo.gl/forms/hNPHmu5H5rwoWber1

      Tide Gate Locations
      Ditch and Road Flooding
Below is a list of tide gates throughout the Peninsula that Somerset County provided (they do not keep a comprehensive list). Can you help do the following: 1. Verify the list is correct? 2. Add locations that aren't listed 3. Tell us about the condition (Good working order; seems ok but not sure; or disrepair/not working) Tide Gate List 1. Intersection of Crab Island Rd. & Oriole Back Rd 2. Deal Island Rd. next to the former White’s Grocery Store in St. Stephens 3. Wenona Harbor that controls the water level along Deal Island Rd. 4. Long Point Rd (1) 5. Long Point Rd (2)
