We're looking for photos to help us document flooding, erosion, marsh encroachment, and any other problems or concerns in the Deal Island Peninsula. Photos will be used to help us build the case for future grant applications or other assistance asks. We are also interested in historic photos and maps that could help us understand how the surrounding marshes and communities on the Deal Island Peninsula have changed over time. If you have old photos or historical documents of the Deal Island Peninsula that you would like to share with us, please get in touch with us! Please include location, date, and a brief description of issue of concern.
We are always looking for volunteers to assist with ongoing and future ecological fieldwork in the marshes surrounding the Peninusula, as well as with other activities related to the project. To find out what opportunities are currently available, email one of the Project Team members.
